We have 3 recycling ventures going on at present in the club. We have a new clothes recycling bin at the clubhouse for you to recycle all unwanted unused clothes, towels, sheets, blankets, curtains, shoes and belts.
We are also recycling old mobile phones and tablets, we have a collection box at the clubhouse.

By supporting these recycling ventures you are also helping our environment while turning these unused items into cash for the club.
Boots recycling. Bring along your old football boots (cleaned please) and donate to the club. If you need a pair of boots please take from the box instead of buying new.

Baile an Mhuilinn abú!!

U12 Division 1 Champions!!
History was made in Hawkfield last Sunday (14th May), when a Milltown team won a Division 1 title (male) for the first time in our long history. The boys did it the tough way, beating traditional powerhouses such as Sarsfields and Moorefield along the way, and finally dispatching a very good Castlemitchell team in the final. Well done boys! The future is bright!

New Pitch Contract Signing

A very historic night for the Club on Tuesday 25th April as our Chairman, Ronan Byrne, and Trustee of the Club, John Murphy, signed the contract for our New Pitch. We have a lot of work ahead, but this is a huge milestone for the club.

Thank you to everyone who has worked towards this development. Buíochas mór!

Many thanks to their trainers Eugene Donovan, Catríona Reddy and Peter Dunne.

Saturday 1st April was an historic day for the club, as we held out first hurling/camogie training session for U6-U8s. We had 32 young people out on the pitch in full battle gear which was amazing to see. Training is 11am (until 11:45) each Saturday directly after football (10-11am), and both boys and girls are very welcome.

Thank you to The Inn @ Milltown and Vista for their generous sponsorship and to Sarsfields and Naas GAA clubs for the loan of some extra equipment. Without this the venture would never have gotten off the ground.

Check out the write up we got on Today FM's website here..

As you may have heard Milltown G.F.C. is in the process of developing new grounds for club and school use.

This is a very big undertaking and is a huge financial commitment for the club and the community. To aid us in this great development, we will start a “Friends of Milltown GAA” group, and will hope to work with this group over the course of the next few years to see this project through to fruition.

The “Friends of Milltown GAA” group will be the core supporters of the project going forward, will receive regular updates from the committees, and will be a key part of the success of the development.

We are approaching you now with a request to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, and to contribute to this wonderful cause. All are welcome to join, and our committee members will be talking to you over the next few days or week to discuss a contribution to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”.

If for some reason you are not approached, but wish to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, please contact one of the committee members below. We would really appreciate your support, and we would love to have you involved in this great community project.
