What a wonderful day we had in the Wexford Opera House last Sunday (10th March). Our club was represented by our Céilí Dancers and our Léiriú.
We've had a number of close calls over the past few years, but, bridging a gap of 31 years, our Léiriú captured that elusive Leinster title. It was en emotional day for many Milltown people who also saw Milltown dancers grace the Leinster stage after a long gap.
very best of luck to our thespians in the All Ireland final on Saturday
13th April in Castlebar. Incidentally, they will be joined by fellow
parishioners, Allenwood, who will represent Kildare in Quiz Time. A
remarkable achievement for the parish.
A football camp will be held for girls aged 5 to 14 from Monday 15th April to Thursday 18th April inclusive. We'd love to see you all there!
A huge thank you to all our members who volunteered to Marshall at Run a Muck tomorrow (9th March) to raise funds for our ladies section. Your donation of your time is very much appreciated by all the young girls (and the not so young) playing football in our club.
