Conlon Cup
October 6th is the date for this years Conlan Cup. This will be the 42nd year of the competition, and we thank the Conlan family for their continued support for this event and for donating the cup in John's memory to the club and community.
As usual, it will be a fantastic day of football from the real "smallies" to the older ones, with the most competition coming from those of us who were at the first competitions when it was a street league.

Keep the date free. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Ladies Minor All Ireland Champions

Congratulations to our Minor B All Ireland champions - the first time a Kildare side has won a minor title.
We were privileged, especially as a smaller club, to have no less than 3 players on the panel.
Well done to the Milltown contingent of Lauren, Lara and Clíodhna. We're extremely proud of you!

Ladies U12 County Players

Congratulations to Caitlin and Michelle who are representing Milltown on the Kildare Ladies U12’s team.

The Kildare Ladies had a fantastic day on Saturday 23rd June. They reached the A final and drew. It then went to points and Wexford won on the penalties frees.

Wonderful football was played and all in Milltown club are very proud of Caitlin and Michelle and all their team.

Hard luck but Congratulations on a fantastic team effort.

Recycling

We have 3 recycling ventures going on at present in the club. We have a new clothes recycling bin at the clubhouse for you to recycle all unwanted unused clothes, towels, sheets, blankets, curtains, shoes and belts.
We are also recycling old mobile phones and tablets, we have a collection box at the clubhouse.

By supporting these recycling ventures you are also helping our environment while turning these unused items into cash for the club.
Boots recycling. Bring along your old football boots (cleaned please) and donate to the club. If you need a pair of boots please take from the box instead of buying new.

Please support our club and help our community by reducing our carbon footprint!

Dear Members & Supporters,

As you may have heard Milltown G.F.C. is in the process of developing new grounds for club and school use.

This is a very big undertaking and is a huge financial commitment for the club and the community. To aid us in this great development, we will start a “Friends of Milltown GAA” group, and will hope to work with this group over the course of the next few years to see this project through to fruition.

The “Friends of Milltown GAA” group will be the core supporters of the project going forward, will receive regular updates from the committees, and will be a key part of the success of the development.

We are approaching you now with a request to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, and to contribute to this wonderful cause. All are welcome to join, and our committee members will be talking to you over the next few days or week to discuss a contribution to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”.

If for some reason you are not approached, but wish to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, please contact one of the committee members below. We would really appreciate your support, and we would love to have you involved in this great community project.
