Milltown March On
After a titanic battle in Hawkfield against Carlow champions Naomh Eoin, Milltown reached the Semi-Final of the Leinster championship for the first time ever where they take on Offaly champions, Saint Brigids (Croghan).

The match is scheduled for a 13:30 throw in on Saturday 24th November at a "Kildare venue".

It's been an amazing year so far, and the lads certainly owe us nothing...but let's hope the adventure continues for a little longer!

U17 Championship Final
Hard luck to our U17 lads, who lost out to Abbey Rangers by the narrowest of margins in what was a pulsating championship final in Hawkfield on Saturday 10th November. The lads gave it everything but fell just short in the end.

I'm sure we'll be hearing more from this fine team in the years to come! Maith sibh!
U13 Girls
Well done to Milltown’s U13 girls who beat Ellistown in Hawkfield on Saturday 20th October in the U13 Final.

Well done girls.

Hon the little village!!

Conlon Cup
We were blessed with fantastic weather on Sunday October 6th for the Conlon Cup. Now in its 42nd year, it continues to go from strength to strength, with the field full of youngster and parents from midday until close to 6pm.
Well done to our Cup and Shield winners. And thank you, once again, to the Conlon family for their continued support for this wonderful event in memory of their son and brother, John.

Ladies Minor All Ireland Champions

Congratulations to our Minor B All Ireland champions - the first time a Kildare side has won a minor title.
We were privileged, especially as a smaller club, to have no less than 3 players on the panel.
Well done to the Milltown contingent of Lauren, Lara and Clíodhna. We're extremely proud of you!

We have 3 recycling ventures going on at present in the club. We have a new clothes recycling bin at the clubhouse for you to recycle all unwanted unused clothes, towels, sheets, blankets, curtains, shoes and belts.
We are also recycling old mobile phones and tablets, we have a collection box at the clubhouse.

By supporting these recycling ventures you are also helping our environment while turning these unused items into cash for the club.
Boots recycling. Bring along your old football boots (cleaned please) and donate to the club. If you need a pair of boots please take from the box instead of buying new.

Please support our club and help our community by reducing our carbon footprint!

The Street League

New Pitch Contract Signing

A very historic night for the Club on Tuesday 25th April as our Chairman, Ronan Byrne, and Trustee of the Club, John Murphy, signed the contract for our New Pitch. We have a lot of work ahead, but this is a huge milestone for the club.

Thank you to everyone who has worked towards this development. Buíochas mór!

"Friends of Milltown GAA":
Dear Members & Supporters,

As you may have heard Milltown G.F.C. is in the process of developing new grounds for club and school use.

This is a very big undertaking and is a huge financial commitment for the club and the community. To aid us in this great development, we will start a “Friends of Milltown GAA” group, and will hope to work with this group over the course of the next few years to see this project through to fruition.

The “Friends of Milltown GAA” group will be the core supporters of the project going forward, will receive regular updates from the committees, and will be a key part of the success of the development.

We are approaching you now with a request to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, and to contribute to this wonderful cause. All are welcome to join, and our committee members will be talking to you over the next few days or week to discuss a contribution to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”.

If for some reason you are not approached, but wish to join “Friends of Milltown GAA”, please contact one of the committee members below. We would really appreciate your support, and we would love to have you involved in this great community project.

Once again we thank you profoundly for the continued backing you give this club and this community.

Yours Sincerely,

Milltown G.F.C. Development Committee
